Randall K. Koski, CPA, graduated with honors from Midland Lutheran College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration and a minor in economics.

Randy began to work with clients in the businesses of agriculture, health care, and manufacturing at his first position in public accounting in the Onawa and Sioux City, Iowa offices of Williams & Company.  He then spent several years with Goracke & Wilcox in Omaha prior to founding Koski Professional Group in 1986.

Randy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Accounting Research Association, the Nebraska Society of Certified Public Accountants, and served as Chairman of the Continuing Education Committee of the Nebraska Society.  He is a member of the professional division of the Phi Beta Lambda business association and served on the Business Advisory Board of the Midland Lutheran College chapter.  Randy has also served on the Government Relations Committee and the Reimbursement Committee of the Nebraska Health Care Association. 

Randy served as a director and officer on the Board of Directors of the Midland Lutheran College Athletic Boosters and the Midland Lutheran College Alumni Association.  He also served as a trustee and as Vice-Chairman of the Midland Lutheran College Board of Trustees.  Randy is a director and past treasurer of the board of directors of Kicks for a Cure, Inc., a charity that organizes a women’s soccer tournament and raises funds for cancer research.  He also served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Heartland Foundation (Heartland School, Omaha, Nebraska) and serves as a trustee and Vice Chair of the Nebraska Independent College Foundation.  

In addition to supporting the clients and staff of Koski Professional Group in the traditional accounting, auditing, tax and reimbursement work of the firm, Randy devotes substantial time to estate, gift, and retirement planning; business succession planning; acquisitions and mergers, particularly by consolidated groups; and major capital transactions, such as large asset purchases, refinancing of debt, and purchases and sales of a business or a segment of a business.

 Michelle R. Thornburg, CPA, received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Midland Lutheran College.  Michelle graduated Summa Cum Laude with majors in accounting and economics.  Michelle became a shareholder of the firm in January 1998.

Michelle has experience working with individuals and closely held businesses on their accounting, tax and financial planning needs.  In addition to the traditional accounting and tax services, Michelle has experience with mergers and acquisitions, employee benefit plans, and Nebraska incentive tax credits.  Michelle has provided services to clients in many industries including the following:

Michelle is a past member of the Nebraska Board of Public Accountancy and still serves as a member of the Educational Advisory Committee and the Peer Review Oversight Committee of the Board.

Michelle is a member of several other organizations, including the Nebraska Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of CPAs, Omaha Network, and serves as trustee for the Foundation of the Nebraska Society of CPAs and is a member of the Development Committee for ALS in the Heartland.

Michelle has been involved with Junior Achievement and has been a presenter at Math in Business Day, Expanding Your Horizons, and numerous high school and college classrooms.  Michelle has also served on the Business Advisory Board of the College of Saint Mary and as a member of the Advisory Council of the College of Business & Technology at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.

In 2023, Michelle received the Distinguished Service to the Profession Award from the Nebraska Society of CPAs for her decades of dedicated service and leadership within the profession and the business community. In 2004, Michelle received the Outstanding Young Alumni Award from Midland Lutheran College in recognition of outstanding professional achievements and personal accomplishments during the years of her career.

Adrian Lape-Brinkman, CPA, graduated from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting and began his career in Toledo, Ohio in December 1996.  Adrian became a shareholder of the firm in January 2010.

 Adrian has experience providing reviews and compilations of closely held businesses and not for profit organizations. Adrian uses his extensive tax knowledge and experience working with closely held companies and partnerships, including the related owners.  Adrian devotes his time to providing clients with ideas, tax planning, and consulting with them on various business and tax matters such as accounting methods, multi-state issues, succession planning, acquisitions and mergers.  Additionally, he has experience advising businesses and individuals with IRS and state examinations and protest letters.

Kelli S. Hauschild, CPA, graduated with honors from Midland Lutheran College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting and Management and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics. Kelli joined Koski Professional Group, P.C. in 2008. In 2011, Kelli received her Masters Degree in Professional Accounting from Midland University.

Kelli is a registered tax professional with the Internal Revenue Service and a member of the Nebraska Society of Certified Public Accountants. Kelli is a member of the Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska Healthcare Associations, and LeadingAge Kansas. Kelli is currently on the reimbursement and government relations committees of the Nebraska Healthcare Association. Kelli is also a part of the change of ownership workgroup for the Nebraska Healthcare Association. Kelli has also been a panelist for Expanding Your Horizons and is a past Treasurer of Omaha Business Women’s Network networking group.

Michelle Blann received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting from Bellevue University with a minor in Business Administration. Michelle joined Koski Professional Group, P.C. in June 2022 and has been working in public accounting since January 1995.

Michelle has experience working with a variety of business clients including Construction Contractors, Retail Businesses, Dental Practices and Bars/Restaurants. She specializes in small business accounting offering QuickBooks training, as well as bookkeeping services including Payroll and Sales Tax preparation. She understands the difficulty for business owners to run a business and keep up with the ever-changing regulations and accounting requirements.

Michelle’s goal is to provide and assist clients with understanding the financial side so they can focus on their operations and be successful business owners. She enjoys building business relationships with clients and assisting with Quick Books questions, reconciliation of accounts, preparing monthly financial statements, and filing various tax returns.

Michelle is also Treasurer of a local non-profit organization, Lungs4Life Foundation Inc.

Dan Wells, CPA, joined Koski Professional Group, P.C., in January of 2022.  He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1989. 

Over his career as a CPA, Dan has worked for two other CPA firms, was an auditor with the Nebraska Department of Revenue, a controller for local businesses, and the owner of a manufacturing, wholesale engine distribution and service company.  Dan has experience working with a variety of businesses including contractors, distributors, manufacturing, equipment dealerships and agriculture.

Dan holds the designations of Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Charted Global Management Accountant (CGMA).  He is a member of the Nebraska Society of CPAs and has been involved in the society’s various boards and leadership over the last 20 years, including serving as Society Chairman and Chairman of the Industry Committee. He currently serves as President of the Nebraska Society of CPAs Foundation.  Dan is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts. 

Within the community, Dan has served as treasurer for several organizations and on a number of boards and finance committees, including as president of a local school board.  His current responsibilities include acting as treasurer for two organizations and as an advisor to the State Knights of Columbus McGivney Foundation. 

Kevin D. Petersen graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) with a degree in Public Administration with a specialty in Airport Planning and Development. As a licensed pilot, his interest and education flew in a different direction and landed in Real Estate, Asset Management, Land Development, Homebuilding, Business Development, Construction and Accounting since 2006. He is currently enrolled back at UNO to get his Master’s Degree in Accounting, and joined the firm in 2023. 

Kevin has experience in the preparation of individual, S-corporation, partnership, and trust income tax returns along with bookkeeping in QuickBooks for a variety of different industries.

Deanna Crichton graduated from Modesto Junior College in Modesto, CA with Associate of Science Degrees in both Accounting and Business Administration.  Joining the firm in December 2022, Deanna brings with her over 35 years of experience in bookkeeping and payroll services.

Deanna’s background includes working with clients in the agriculture and trucking industries, as well as insurance agencies, software companies, and consulting firms.  She is proficient in payroll tax, sales tax, and specialty taxes such as fuel tax and heavy vehicle use tax.

Deanna excels in assisting clients understand the bookkeeping process by taking concepts and breaking them down into plain language.  Well versed in QuickBooks versions for desktop and online, Deanna is ready to answer your bookkeeping questions.

Daniel Roman graduated from University of Nebraska Omaha with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting in 2022. Daniel joined Koski Professional Group P.C. in January 2023 and passed the CPA exam in April of 2024.

Jessica D. Kovarik, CPA, graduated magna cum laude from Bellevue University with a Bachelor of Science Business Administration degree in Accounting in 2009. She joined Koski Professional Group, P.C. in July 2021.

 Jessica is a member of the Nebraska Society of Certified Public Accountants. She has experience in a variety of businesses including agriculture and healthcare. She has experience in: Bookkeeping, Income Tax Services, Financial Statements, Medicare and Medicaid Cost Reports.

Logan D. French graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Nebraska Omaha. He’s currently enrolled in the University of Nebraska Omaha’s Master of Accounting program where he is working on acquiring the credits and work hours necessary to become a Certified Public Accountant.

Logan has experience in the preparation of individual, S-corporation, partnership, and trust income tax returns along with bookkeeping in QuickBooks for a variety of different industries. Logan joined the firm in 2023.
